Conoship Summer Party 2024
We would like to start by thanking EM2 Groningen and their amazing staff for the wonderful event! Everything was superbly organized and we hope to see again for our next Summer Party!
It started in the late afternoon with some delicious snacks and interesting cocktails. We were lucky with the sunny and warm weather, allowing us to enjoy the terrace of the venue. There were games for the kids and the local wildlife provided a unique form of entertainment as well. We were surprised to see 3 pigs roaming around the terrain of the venue. They were very friendly and mostly just interested in whatever scraps they could find on the ground or underneath the soil. Apparently they have been at the EM2 venue since they were little piglets, but have since become fully grown adults.
When the rain finally came, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the attendees. Instead, it provided an opportunity to explore the beautifully decorated interior of the venue. The cozy ambiance inside, combined with the soothing jazz music from Het Noothoven Syndicaat who were already set up inside. We were able to enjoy the music from the terrace as well, but it was better to fully appreciate the great tunes from indoors. As the evening progressed, more guests arrived, adding to the lively and cheerful atmosphere. The staff at EM2 Groningen were attentive and ensured that everyone had a great time.
The band was able to stop playing and take a break for a bit as we cannot have a Summer Party without highlighting and memorializing our greatest achievements over the past year. We covered the amazing progress we booked with our CIP-series, standardized vessels designed for efficiency and sustainability, some key events we organized and attended, launches and christenings of vessels which Conoship helped to construct and much more. It was a delightful experience to see our owners and directors speak with such joy and excitement about what has happened and what is to come.
After the presentation it was time for dinner. Wood fired oven pizza, various types of salad and complementary fries while we could enjoy the second round of jazz music from Het Noothoven Syndicaat. We set up a VR experience which allows you to wander through 3D renders of vessels we have designed. Stay tuned for this to show up at our event stands as well in the near future! The cozy environment of EM2 Groningen, the hospitable staff, the great music and such a wonderful group of people made for an amazing event.
